Paste your values, one per line, from a spreadsheet column or a text file. Each line becomes one label; blank lines are skipped. Lines that aren't valid for the barcode type you picked are listed with the reason and left off the sheet, so you don't print a barcode that won't scan. For UPC, EAN and ITF-14, lines that are one digit short get their check digit added.
Pick the layout that matches your label sheets. The letter layouts follow the sizes of Avery 5160 (30 per sheet), 5167 (80 per sheet) and 5163 (10 per sheet); the A4 layout is 24 labels of 63.5 × 33.9 mm. The barcode is scaled to fit each label.
About the numbers: this tool draws a barcode for a number you already have. It does not issue product numbers. UPC and EAN numbers for products sold in stores come from GS1 (in the US, GS1 US), which licenses a company prefix to each brand. A number you make up yourself will scan, but it isn't registered to you, and retailers and marketplaces that check GS1 data may reject it.
